New user, firstly what an amazing effort, thank you! it has given a brand new lease of life to my trusty 10yo Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus… I would like to kindly make a suggestion for the manual, this is my story;
AI decided to convince me last night that my 3d printer mainboard was a “52c”, even sent it a photo “100% That is a 52c mainboard”, flashed the 52c firmware… upon rebooting quickly discovered it is, in fact a “51”, resulting in none of the end-stop microswitches being detected, printer then commences to attempt full suicide by moving the print head well beyond acceptable range.
It was only after flashing 51 and playing with the interface that I found the Info → I/O page, would this have helped me? If so may I kindly suggest a step in the manual after flashing could be to bring up that page and manually activate the microswitches to ensure that ADVi3 is detecting these properly?
