Set z height in 4.0.6-HE180021

i just loaded ADVi3pp-HE180021-Mainboard-4.0.6 hex ansd when i tried to home the extruder for leveling it just kept going down and i had to shut my maker select plus down how can i set the z height correctly?
where do i find the right manual?

You are mentioning two contradictory things. Do you have a HE180021 (i.e. Aldi Balco) or a Maker Select Plus printer?

there were 2 hex files .i should have used the other hex file?
