Halved ranges in X and Y axis after flash

After flashing 4.0.6 to replace original firmware on my 2016 build wanhao i3 Plus MK1, my X and Y axis seems to have halved when testing out the motor limits. On X it will act as if its reached its limit when halfway across, and on Y, the bed will only travel backwards about 30 mm before stopping. On the original firmware i was able to move them through full range of motion.

Used a mac to flash the printer.

You are the only one to report such behavior so I doubt it is due to the firmware. Some cables are maybe loose?

Since i have turned the printer on this morning, the issue seems to have dissapeard. Should i level my bed and attempt a print? thank you
